New Sixth Form Entrance for September 2008

Sixth @ Virgo is hoping to be succesful with planning consent to allow construction of a new

glazed entrance lobby and reception to the Sixth Form wing. This dedicated entranceway will provide

unique access to our Sixth Form from the pedestrian entrance on Central Hill. In addition,

Sixth Formers will be issued with their own access pass's to the site and buildings.

Summer 2008 adapations also include new 'Sixth Form Social Area' and a greatly enlarged

'Sixth Form Study Centre'.

New Teaching Block 2008

The new teaching Block is progressing well and will be opening

in the Autumn 2008 for the new school year.

The new block will provide state of the art resources for the following

Departments;- Mathematics, ICT, Business Studies, Media Studies,

Student Support and Special Needs.

We are also excited to have commercial standard resources for our

Vocational courses for Hair, Beauty, Hospitality and Catering.

Arranged over four floors the building includes the very latest technology to make it as eco

friendly as possible
