Virgo Fidelis Convent Senior School is an inclusive Roman Catholic school that warmly welcomes all young women. In 1848 our founder, Mother Saint Mary, said:
You will have gained everything when you give children the desire to do well.
It is a vision that still inspires Virgo Fidelis’ supportive, pupil-centred environment.
The Christian values of belief, hope and love root our community in the love of God and inform our school motto: Credo, Spero, Amo.
Virgo Fidelis Convent Senior School acts as a springboard to a life of purpose by:
- Nurturing the spiritual development of each girl in our care through a supportive and prayerful community, which helps pupils to develop the habit of reflection and to grow in a personal relationship with God.
- Celebrating a God-centred life and marking special Feast Days with Mass
- Fostering a culture of responsibility to be good stewards of God’s world
- Empowering pupils to make informed, moral choices
Our founding congregation ‘The Sisters of Fidelity’ follow the Ignatian charism. In this the Sisters intend for our pupils to use their God-given gifts and talents to create a better world, especially for those who are vulnerable or marginalized.
