Admission to the Sixth Form is inclusive, offering opportunities for a
wide range of students. You are expected to set and achieve your own
targets. Post-16 courses are particularly demanding and throughout GCSE
studies, students should have demonstrated that they have the ability
and determination to succeed.
Students following AS/A2/GNVQ
Advanced level courses are normally encouraged to take four subjects
(occasionally more or less when agreed after counselling). Students
intending to follow an AS standard course must have achieved a relevant
GCSE pass at grade C or above.
GCSE retakes are offered in Maths
and English for students who have already attained a grade D. |
